This has been an absolutely gorgeous fall weekend. The leaves were perfect, we ate pumpkin pancakes with candied pecans, my mums were in full bloom, and we put the finishing touches on our Halloween costumes. Everything about it make me just feel the fall spirit right into my bones. Even Perry loved romping around in the leaves even though they got totally stuck to her crazy curly fur.
Although I had a totally separate post planned for today, the complete brevity of the fall’s beauty really resonated with me and I wanted to soak up as much as I could before it all went away and the starkness of winter settles in.
So today, I have a few snaps from our beautiful fall weekend to share. Tomorrow, I have the (absolutely delicious) recipe for these (amazingly fluffy) gluten free pumpkin pancakes to share, and Wednesday I have a sweet pumpkin ‘carving’ to show you. This last week of October deserves to be celebrated, so I’m really going to be amping up the fall posts.
